Library Makerspace – Cricut


The Cricut Maker is a cutting machine that will cut hundreds of materials.

Cricut Maker

Cricut Maker offers the widest range of tools for cutting, scoring, writing and adding decorative effects.  The blades glide through cotton, fleece, denim and more quickly without any backing material.
The Cricut maker cuts intricate shapes to perfection in materials like cardstock, vinyl, iron-on, poster board & more.

Designs are created in Cricut Design Space and the Cricut is connected by Bluetooth or USB.


You will have to set up your own Design Space account at:

Anyone wishing to use the Cricut Maker will be required to sign a waiver.  Circulation staff will give you the waiver and add the information to your card. Next time just show staff your card when you want to use the Cricut.
Although the library has a few items for purchase you can bring your own material. It never hurts to have a bit extra just in case.

  • Create your design.
  • Come to the library.
  • Show staff your library card.
  • Login to your design space account on the laptop with the Cricut.
  • Select your design and select customize.
